Canada actually does something cool, for once.
I got annoyed. I’m of the opinion that someone who argues for the need to have “qualifications” in order to enter into a discourse is a rather insecure person. That is to say, such a person has no confidence in their own a qualification to engage in discourse, and thus the need to control what is spoken into the discourse through predefined rules. Discourse limited in this way bears little fruit.
Edit: Crap, I’m just now seeing the typos in my Foucault quote. oh well.
